The GAA has this evening confirmed to Midwest Sport that if Saturday’s All-Ireland final finishes level after normal time it will go to extra time.

There has been some confusion over the last few days whether the game would go to a replay after full time.

However, in response to an email by Midwest earlier today the GAA communications department say there will be two periods of ten minutes after normal time.

If the game is level after extra time it will go to a replay on Sunday September 19th.
