The new GPA CEO Tom Parsons joined us on Sunday Sport this afternoon.

His first official act was on Friday to confirm that the GPA and Cliona's Foundation have teamed up as part of an official charity agreement.

It's hoped to raise €100,000 through the partnership to support vulnerable families with a seriously sick child.

Parsons said that between the partnership and the recent decision to amalgamate with the WGPA, it's been a productive period.

He also spoke about the important role the players body played during his time on the inter-county scene.
