Sligo native Michéal Naughton began his presidency of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association this weekend.

Naughton, who originally hails from Castleconnor, was elected to the role at last year’s Annual LGFA Congress.

He previously managed Donegal to an All-Ireland women’s football title in 2010.
