Mayo’s Niamh Kelly has been crowned Player of The Day by her AFL side West Coast Eagles.
The Moy Davitts clubwoman put on a clinical display at midfield, with 17 disposals, as the Eagles suffered a 67-point loss to a strong Fremantle outfit in Round 6 of the league.
Her sister Grace scored the Eagle’s only major of the game.
Following a kick inside from Niamh, Grace received a handball from Demi Liddle and sprinted into goal to provide some cheer for the blue and gold fans.
