There’s some good news for Mayo football supporters, as Colm Boyle looks set to stay with the county footballers for at least another season.
This was confirmed to Midwest Sport by his Davitt’s clubmate Mickey Conroy.
He confirmed the news while paying tribute to the latest stalwart to call it a day for Mayo, as Keith Higgins announced his retirement on Saturday evening.
It follows the retirements of Donal Vaughan, David Clarke, Tom Parsons, Seamie O’Shea and Chris Barrett.
Former Mayo sharpshooter Mickey Conroy said he believes this is the end of the retirements for this season.
