The GAA has confirmed the referees and match officials for the 2020 GAA Football All-Ireland Senior and Under 20 All-Ireland Finals with David Coldrick confirmed as the referee for the senior final, while Paul Faloon from Down will officiate in the EirGrid GAA Football All-Ireland U20 Final between Dublin and Galway.
Coldrick from Meath is a member of the Blackhall Gaels Club, and will take charge of the All-Ireland Senior final between Dublin and Mayo in what will be David’s fourth Senior Final having previously refereed the 2007, 2010 and 2015 deciders.
In this year’s Football Championship, David has refereed Louth v Longford and Kildare v Offaly in the Leinster Championship, and Donegal v Armagh in this year’s Ulster championship.
His umpires on the day will be Seamus McCormack (Walterstown), Stephen O Hare (Syddan), Ronan Garry (Donaghmore-Ashbourne), and Padraig Coyle (Senechalstown).
Tyrone’s Seán Hurson will be the standby referee. The other linesman is Joe McQuillan (Cavan) and the Sideline official will be Fergal Kelly (Longford).
Paul Faloon, who will be officiating at the EirGrid GAA Football All-Ireland U20 Final, is a member of the Drumgath club.
In this year’s Football championship, he has refereed two championship fixtures – Connacht Championship: Leitrim v Mayo and Ulster Championship: Cavan v Antrim,
His umpires on the day will be Noel Tumilty (Annaclone), Kevin Faloon (St John Bosco), Gregory McGrath (Aghaderg) and Mickey Cranney (Glenn).
Derry’s Barry Cassidy will be the standby referee. The other linesman is Derek O’Mahoney (Tipperary) and the Sideline Official will be James Bermingham (Cork).
