The injured Tadhg Furlong will play no part in Ireland's Six Nations games against Italy and France later this month.
Andy Farrell has named six uncapped players in his squad of 35.
Mayo's Caelan Doris, who plays with Leinster, has been included alongside 6 Connacht players - Bundee Aki, Jack Carty, Kieran Marmion, Finlay Bealham, Dave Heffernan and Quinn Roux.
Ireland take on Italy at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday 24th October, and will play France in Paris a week later.
