A Ballycroy man is today completing his 300km in 30 days run for Gearoid's smile.

Due to current circumstances Gearoids Smile’s main fundraiser for the year the three peaks challenge was postponed.

The charity provides support for children suffering from cancer and their families.

In order to raise much needed funds for the charity Stephen Grealis from Ballycroy undertook the challenge of running 300 kilometres in 30 days.

So far Stephen has raised just under €3,500.

Donations can still be made via Go Fund Me.

Stephen told Midwest Sport today that he is overwhelmed by the support he has received over the past month.
