Roscommon GAA and Club Rossie have deferred their Win a Home in London Competition until the end of the year.

In a statement this morning Roscommon GAA say they have taken the decision as they want nothing to distract from tackling Covid-19.

Since the launch of the competition in December 2019 €865,000 has been raised, covering Roscommon GAA’s cost for the competition, with the surplus raised going to both the Dr Hyde Park redevelopment and the Dermot Early Centre of Participation.

The GAA body went on to say they could not hold a suitable event 10th of May due to the pandemic.

In a statement Roscommon GAA says that while tickets are still available to purchase on they will pause marketing the competition until the worst of Covid-19 has passed.

Roscommon GAA wish all their supporters in Ireland, the UK and in the 30 countries globally who have purchased a ticket entry the very best through these unprecedented times.

They look forward to normality returning and having a special night on the 30th December when one lucky person will win a luxury, Ballymore developed, apartment in London City Island.
