Sligo native Michéal Naughton has confirmed he will be a candidate for the next President of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association.
Mr Naughton, a member of the Four Masters club in Donegal hails from Castleconnor, Co Sligo and is a former President of the Ulster LGFA.
He's been involved in ladies football for the past 25 years.
The Ulster LGFA have endorsed his bid for the post, which is for a 4-year term.
Marie Hickey from Laois is the outgoing President, and the LGFA congress takes place in Loughrea, Co Galway in March.
