Connacht will have to plan without their player of the year Colby Fainga'a for Saturday's Champions Cup clash with Gloucester and next week's inter-pro derby against Munster, due to a knee ligament injury.

He sustained a repeat of a medial ligament injury in the early stages of Connacht's European defeat to Gloucester last weekend, and could be out until the New Year.

Connacht will also be without Tiernan O'Halloran and Kieran Marmion for those two pre-Christmas games due to injury.
