Two Sligo hurlers and one from Roscommon are included on the Irish squad for the annual Hurling Shinty International against Scotland, which takes place in Abbottstown, Dublin this Saturday.

The senior team is largely dominated by players who competed in the Joe McDonagh Cup this year, and also includes Roscommon's Cillian Egan, along with Gerard O'Kelly-Lynch and Keith Rackard from Sligo.

The team will be captained by Donegal's Danny Cullen and the senior game gets underway in the National Games Development Centre at 2pm.

Ireland are without a win in the contest since 2014, with the Scots chasing a fifth successive victory.
