Roscommon-native James McDermott, is set to become the first Rossie since 2011 to win a Cork SFC title.

The 31-year-old will be at midfield for reigning Cork and Munster champions Nemo Rangers in their match against Duhallow on Sunday at Páirc Uí Rinn which throws-in at 4pm.

Niall Daly is the last Rossie to win a Cork SFC title, winning on that occasion with UCC.
