Sarah Quinn has continued here recent run of form on the athletics circuit at the U-23 European championships, with a silver medal and a new PB, at the senior championships.

The Ballinrobe athlete came second in the women’s 100 meter hurdles at the National Senior Championships taking place in Dublin this weekend with a PB of 13.47 seconds.

The 20-year-old is in fourth position in the Irish record books for fastest 100 meter women’s hurdles.

The St Colman’s Athletics athlete told Midwest Radio Sport that she was delighted with her achievements this year and that the focus was now on winter training.
