The Galway minors recovered from their Connacht final defeat against Mayo by beating the Leinster champions Kildare by eight points, 2-17 to 0-15.

The Tribesmen were on fire in the penultimate game in Pearse Park on Saturday evening as they ran in goal courtesy of James McLaughlin and Nathan Grainger.

They will play the winners of Kerry and Tyrone on the weekend of the 11th of August.
