Mayo keep their All-Ireland hopes alive as they defeated Meath in Croke Park yesterday by 2-17 to 0-14.

Kevin McLoughlin’s goal proved crucial for James Horan’s men as they broke the Meath stranglehold in towards the end of the second half.

Points from James Carr and Andy Moran reinvigorated the Connacht men before Cillian O’Connor put the game to bed with a goal from a penalty rebound.
