Monica McGovern,

Rossanrubble, Newport, Co. Mayo (15th January 2025) - peacefully at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband Frank, her sons Mark and John.

Monica will be sadly missed by her son Mick, daughter-in-law Una, grandchildren Penny & Niall, her sisters Barbara & Sheila, her close friend Vivian, relatives, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

Rest in Peace.

Monica will be reposing at St. Dominicks Funeral Home, Newport (F28XH61) on Friday evening from 5.30 to 7pm.

Removal on Saturday morning at 10:40am to St. Patrick’s Church, Newport for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery.

Family flowers only please.

The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on Burrishoole Parish Facebook page.
