Frank Scanlon,
Shraugh, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo and formerly of Nottingham, England (November 10th, 2024) - unexpectedly at Mayo University Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Mary (née Nolan), daughter Catherine (Nottingham) and her partner Sean, son Michael (Nottingham), grandchildren Katie, Aiden, Brendan, Adel & Cormac, brothers Peter, Tony & Liam, sisters Margaret & Sal, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended Scanlon & Nolan families, and many friends.
May He Rest In Peace.
Frank will rest in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Wednesday, November 13th from 5:30pm concluding with Vigil Prayers and removal at 7:00pm, walking to St. Patrick's Church, Louisburgh.
Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 12 noon followed by interment in Killeen (New) Cemetery, (cortége will travel after Mass via Shraugh - Leenane Road - and his home of origin in Furmoyle).
Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Mayo / Roscommon Hospice, c/o Sweeney Funeral Directors, Louisburgh.

Frank lived his dream and built a home to return to on his retirement. He worked hard all his life, may he Rest In Peace !
