John McGirr,

Cloghane, Rosbeg, Westport and formerly of Culleen, Kilsallagh, Westport - died peacefully on the 31st August 2024 in the wonderful care of the staff in Mayo Hospice.

John will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, brother Patrick (Culleen, Kilsallagh), sister-in-law Sr. Patrice (Poor Clare Monastery, Ballsbridge, Dublin), brother-in-law Tom Regan (Derrycastle, Aughamore), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing in Navin's Funeral Home, Westport on Friday, September 6th from 5:30pm with removal at 6:30pm to St. Mary's Church, Westport.

Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 7th, at 11am with burial afterwards in Murrisk Cemetery.
