Mary Ann Sweeney,

Drimulra, Newport, Co. Mayo (April 17th, 2024) - peacefully after a long illness, borne with courage and determination in University Hospital Galway, surrounded by her loving family.

Mary Ann was predeceased by her father Dick and her uncle John. 

Mary Ann will be lovingly  missed by her husband Noel, children Amy, Rachel, Conor, Michael, grandchild Skye, mother Mary, sisters Hillary and Monica, brother-in-law Michael, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing in St Dominick's Funeral Home, Main Street, Newport, F28 XH61 on Sunday, April 21st from 5.30pm with removal at 7 o'clock to the Church of the Holy Family, Fahy.

Funeral Mass on Monday, April 22nd at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
