Condolences to Anne, Colie, Padraig, Joe, Catherine and Barbara, Alessia and Claudia, Pauline, Denis, Aoife, and family and friends on the loss of Michael, a man of faith and integrity whom we will miss. He brought unrivalled skill to his building craft. For example, in Keel, he built a beautiful house on the Sandybanks, managing a highly skilled team. There, he applied his skill learned from many years managing men and building piers and harbors all over England. He devised the best solution for the difficult foundation on sandy soil, by driving pilings into bedrock to provide support without disturbing the surrounding land. Moreover, he found and worked with similarly skilled craftsman for the complex construction and completed the project perfectly and on time, He was wise, and a great manager. Michael Lydon has been a blessing in my life, and I am grateful that I have known him and learned from him.
James & Noreen Johnston, Kilmeena.
