Michael Devaney

Florida and formerly of Clooncrim, Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon.

July 25th, 2022 (following an accident)

Michael died peacefully in the loving care of the staff at the Speciality Hospital in Florida.

Pre-deceased by his wife Maureen (née Lennane), parents Martin and Margaret and brothers Christy and Willie.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his sister Mary McDermott (Tibohine), brothers Kevin (Ballyhaunis) and John (Ballinlough), his twin brother Martin (New York), brother-in-law Tim, sisters-in-law Bridie and Maureen, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May He Rest in Peace.

Michael and his wife Maureen's cremain's will be removed from Michael's sisters home (Mary McDermott, Tibohine), on Wednesday (September 28th) at 1pm arriving to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballinlough for Mass of the Resurrection at 2pm, followed by burial in Ballinlough Cemetery.

I always admire those from Michael’s generation who left Ireland in very difficult times and made a new life for themselves far away from home . So many left here and never returned for whatever reason . Much has changed in the meantime for the benefit of all generations, communication and travel so much easier .
