Predeceased by his parents Michael and Margaret, brothers Davy, Seán and Paddy.
Beloved husband of Mary and dear father of Michael, Thelma, Joanne, Myra and Margaret, sisters Bridie Healy (Cross, Binghamstown, Belmullet), Kathleen Rowan (Clogher, Belmullet) and Mary Walsh (Nottingham, England), brother Thomas Walshe (Clontarf, Dublin), grandchildren Sarah, Michael James, Elizabeth, Seán, Ruarí, Harry, Saoirse, Tadhg, Mya, Cillian, Ódhran, Darragh and Rían, daughter-in-law Lisa, sons-in-law Rory Tim and Laurence, sisters-in-law Monica, Mary Ann and Síle, brother-in-law Pat, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral will depart from McDonnell's Funeral Home, Belmullet on Sunday at 12 noon and travel via the Family Home in Monaghrory arriving for Funeral Mass at St. Josephs Church, Binghamstown at 1 o’clock.
Burial afterwards in Cross Cemetery.
In keeping with current Government advice and H.S.E. guidelines regarding public gatherings, Michael Joe’s funeral will be private for immediate family only.
Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page with streaming of all the funeral services for the late Michael Joe Walshe at 7pm on Sunday evening.
For those who would like to pay their respects as the funeral cortege passes through the town and en-route to the church, please stand in a socially distanced manner on the streets, roadsides, outside the church and cemetery ensuring public health and safety is being upheld to the highest standard.
