Motorists who may be travelling on the main Sligo to Ballina road this evening are being asked to proceed with caution.

This notice comes after a truck broke down on the N59 at Beltra, resulting in a buildup of traffic on the road.

Drivers are being advised to be cautious if travelling on this route this evening while the truck is being removed.
