A public meeting to explore the development of an indoor heated swimming pool in Castlerea will take place in the town this evening( Thurs).
The meeting gers underway at 8pm in Tully’s Hotel.
Local Independent councillor Tony Waldron is organising tonight’s gathering.
He insists that there is a need for such a facility in the community, primarily on health grounds, catering for all age groups.
The existing outdoor swimming pool in Castlerea, he says, is a very good facility but it is only open for a limited period annually.
