An exhibition marking the 40th anniversary of the death of Belgian expressionist painter, Marie Howet, is now running at Westport Library for the next two weeks.
Howet is famous for her work which was based mainly on her time spent on Achill Island in the 1930s and '40s.
The exhibition is the work of the author and researcher, Mary J Murphy.
