The Government's been advised to increase the fees for driving licenses and car tests.
A review into the RSA has advised it's necessary in order to fund road safety.
It also says more exchequer funding is needed according to the Irish Times.
It also recommends an overhaul of the Road Safety Authority and to transfer some of its functions to the Department of Transport.
