Two people are due in court this morning, after being arrested yesterday in Castlebar in connection with thefts which are alleged to have occurred at a number of business premises earlier this week.
Gardai arrested the suspects on Main Street, Castlebar yesterday and they were detained and questioned by officers at the local garda station.
They are due to appear at a sitting of Galway District Court this morning.
Investigations are ongoing into the allegations.
