A man in his 30s was taken to hospital following an assault in Belmullet.
Gardaí received report of an incident of assault that occurred on Barrack Street in Belmullet, Co Mayo at approximately 11:40pm on Saturday night last.
A man in his 30s was taken to Mayo University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
