Childcare fee increases could cost parents up to 5 thousand euro extra a year per child.

Representatives of childcare providers are calling for immediate Government intervention as creche owners plan to opt out of core funding and raise fees.

Providers say the only thing that can save businesses is if the Government allow them to bring up their fees by 33 euro 30 cent and increase the ECCE funding to 120 euro.
