Minister Dara Calleary has confirmed further progress is being made on the long awaited Crossmolina Flood Relief Scheme.
The Fianna Fail Minister says that Minister Paschal Donohoe have accepted the recommendations of the report and the environmental consultants will now complete their final report on the scheme, which will take a number of weeks.
Minister Calleary says that as the OPW will be carrying out the work themselves, there will be no tender process and all going to plan, work will commence by the end of this year.
