The Northern Lights could be visible from Ireland again, next month.

We mostly see them when the Sun's really active - and a new flare of energy is now hurtling towards Earth.

It's due to arrive in around a fortnight's time.

The green, purple, and blue lights - also known as Aurora Borealis - often appear above Iceland and Norway - but sightings in Ireland are relatively rare.
