Clifden District Hospital remains closed as the HSE struggle to recruit care and working staff.
A timeline to the reopening of the facility has not been committed as of yet either.
A public meeting took place on Monday last, March 11, during which a lot of local frustration was vented on the inability to access the facility.
It is now over three weeks since the hospital’s respite service was shut down by the HSE due to staffing shortages.
