The new Deposit Return Scheme for bottles and cans is being launched today.
It'll see plastic drinks bottles and aluminium cans have a 15-25 cent deposit placed on them, which will be returned to the customer at one of 1,800 reverse-vending machines across the country.
The scheme is to try and increase recycling rates in Ireland, and help us hit EU targets.
