The GP surgery in Lahardane will officially reopen tomorrow, and the facility will be fully operational by Wednesday next the 7th of February.
That's according to Mayo TD Michael Ring.
The community of Lahardane have been without a GP since the 1st of October last, and Deputy Ring has commended the whole community for their persistence on the issue.
From tomorrow, members of the public can go to the surgery to get forms which will allow them to sign over to the GP in Lahardane and the service will be in operation from Wednesday next week.
Deputy Ring told Midwest Radio's Alannah Nolan that the community worked hard to ensure the service didn't leave the locality....
