Westport is among the areas this morning feeling the effects of last night’s temperature drop.
Local Councillor Peter Flynn has issued a statement on his social media with regards to underfoot and driving conditions.
Cllr Flynn says ‘footpaths and roads are lethal around Westport after rain on top of frost.’
Met Éireann have also issued a low temperature warning for the weekend.
