The HSE is warning people to to be on look out for symptoms of RSV particularly in young children.

There has been an increase in the numbers infected with the respiratory virus which can cause pneumonia in very young kids.

Clinical Lead for the HSE's Public Health Programme Dr. Abigail Collins says initially the symptoms are similar to a cold.
