A majority of counties outside Dublin have seen average rents increase by more than 10% in the past year.
The latest figures from daft.ie show increases of 21% in Limerick, 20% in Donegal, and 18% in Mayo.
The property listings website says the average rent nationwide was over 1,800 euro a month - and over 2,300 euro in Dublin.
