At yesterday's meeting of the West Mayo Municipal District, a presentation was made of some of the key points of Cill Chomain parish 5 year development plan.
The plan shows a list of 60 objectives the group want to achieve before 2026.
One of the main objectives is in relation to the preservation of the Irish language as Carrowtigue itself is located in a gaeltacht area.
