Work on the delayed Galway Ring Road which is due to start in 2026 will have a significant impact on the city.
The project, which could cost up to one billion euro, is due to be completed by 2029.
The ring road would allow drivers to pass from east to west without entering the city centre.
Regional Group TD Sean Canney says this is a win/win all round....
