A Mayo woman has been crowned the winner of this year's Brown Bread Baking competition at the National Ploughing Championships.
Loretta McGuire from Barnatra near Belmullet came out on top in a two-day bakeoff involving eight participants.
The winner will receive 15,000 euro in prize money, and her bread will be stocked in all 160 ALDI supermarkets nationwide.
Loretta has described the experience as "wonderfully surreal."
