The next Covid-like pandemic could come sooner than people think, according to the Health Minister.
Stephen Donnelly says he's been advised by the World Health Organisation the next such outbreak won't be a once in a hundred years event.
He's brought a memo to Cabinet today seeking to establish a new unit to plan for future pandemics and disease outbreaks.
Minister Donnelly says other European countries he's talking to are doing likewise.
