The Government is facing pressure from one of its own senators to provide more electricity credits in the Budget.
Last year saw every household receive 600 euro worth of credit, to help with rising costs.
Fine Gael's Maria Byrne is calling for at least three more 200 euro credits to be delivered this winter.
