The 2023 Dye & Durham Irish Law Awards Winners have been announced.

This annual event is designed to recognise excellence in the legal profession of Ireland, commending the achievements of lawyers.

 

Among the winners on the night include Lawyer of the Year for the Connacht/ Ulster category which went to Galway’s Jason O’Sullivan who also was overall winner.

Other national winners include Jason's company, J.O.S Solicitors, who won the award for Excellence & Innovation in Client Services.

Jason a proud Mayo native, hails from Thomastown, Hollymount and qualified as a solicitor in 2007.

He practised for a number of years as an Associate Solicitor in Dublin, specialising in Employment Law, Commercial and Civil Litigation.

Combining his skill and passion for law and politics, Jason then paved out a successful career in Public Affairs and Lobbying, before setting up his own law practice J.O.S Solicitors in 2015.

 

Jordan & Kennelly, who are based in County Mayo, won Law Firm of the Year for the Connacht/ Ulster region.

Employment Law Firm/ Team/ Lawyer of the year for Connacht/ Ulster went to Alastair Pursy & Co Solicitors in Galway.

Family Law Firm/ Team/ Lawyer of the year and Property Law Firm/ Team/ Lawyer of the year for Connacht/ Ulster went to Geraghty & Co Solicitors LLP, also from Galway who scooped double prizes.

The award ceremony was held in the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road in Dublin last night and was hosted by Ivan Yates.
