Figures have been revealed for the spending costs of travel for backbench TDs and senators last year.
The sum amounts to some €260,000, according to today’s Irish Independent.
Top of the list is Kildare Fianna Fail Senator Fiona O’Loughlin, whose travel expenses came to €27,329.
Second place is roughly €8,000 behind with Fine Gael Senator Joe O’Reilly’s figure at €19,645.
Galway’s Green Party Senator Pauline O’Reilly makes the list with an amount of €6,856.
Mayo based Fianna Fail Deputy Dara Calleary’s travel expenses came to €5,217.
