Connacht Gold has been announced as the fastest growing butter brand in Ireland.
According to Nielsen Data, Scantrack, and the organisation’s internal data, Connacht Gold’s Half Fat Butter was the fastest growing butter brand in the fourth quarter of 2022.
This latest announcement builds on the success of the Half Fat Butter brand, moving up 7 places to number 46 of the 100 best brands in Ireland in 2022, according to CHECKOUT’s Top 100 list.
Connacht Gold has been churning milk since 1897, and has Aurivo Co-op as its parent company.
Stephen Blewitt, General Manager of Dairy at Aurivo, thanked the loyal customers of Connacht Gold in welcoming the announcement.
He said that Connacht Gold’s accomplished position in the Irish market for over 30 years since first appearing on shelves is only possible by virtue of the top quality cream that comes from their dedicated milk suppliers.
Almost 1,000 farming families support Connacht Gold in its position as a critical contributor to the national economy.
