A new pay deal has been approved for supervisors and Team Leaders of Employment Support Schemes.
Deputy Michael Ring says these employees will see pay increases of 3% from the 1st of April this year and that will be backdated. They will also see a further 2% rise from the 1st of November this year.
The Fine Gael Deputy has welcomed the increases and the important role such schemes have in our communities.
