The office of the state Pathologist will carry out a post mortem today on the body of a woman discovered in county Roscommon yesterday.
The woman in her 30s was found dead inside a house on Saturday shortly before 9am and has been taken from the scene to University Hospital Galway.
Gardai say the results of the post mortem will determine the course of their investigation and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
