An Garda Siochana will make a special appeal tonight on the RTÉ Crimecall programme.
This appeal is in relation to the murder of Eddie Fitzmaurice in Bellaghy, Charlestown 25 years ago.
On May 5 1998, 83 year old Eddie Fitzmaurice was found dead in the bedroom of his home.
The elderly draper lived alone and was assaulted and died in a burglary at his home.
A murder investigation got underway by Gardai and 25 years later no one has been charged with Mr Fitzmaurice’s death.
Crimecall airs tonight on RTÉ One from 9:35PM.
