€130,000 has been allocated to the refurbishment of the public toilets at Croagh Patrick.

This news has been confirmed by local Independent Councillor Christy Hyland who has campaigned for a long number of years to have this work carried out.

Cllr. Hyland says Croagh Patrick is the dual in the crown in Mayo and this is positive news as he feels the current toilets are outdated and belong to the 1960’s.

He says the work should commence later in the summer and has being given more details to Midwest Radio’s Michael D. McAndrew....
